Sergeij carried the desirable Hanoverian bloodlines of Sender,Grande, Frustra II and Jonkheer xx, combining talent in both jumping and dressage. He had a wonderful temperament and very correct conformation. He was an attractive stallion with three powerful and elastic gaits. His foals display his wonderful temperament, conformation and movement. Sergeij was imported to Canada from Germany as a yearling by W.Charlot Farms in Stratford, Ontario, and stood there until coming to Saskatchewan in 1996. Sergeij's offspring have proven to be suitable for various disciplines and have competed successfully in Canada and the USA. For example, his son Sopran is a CSHA approved Bronze premium stallion and was Medium II champion in B.C. and traned to Medium IV. Another young son, Saphir, was the 1998 Basic 3-4 Open Trillium Dressage Champion.
